Up until 2000, the sound of an accordian was not uncommon at the upper lock of Jones Falls. Canalman Ray Laforest, now retired, loved to serenade the boaters with his accordian playing. He always had an appreciative audience, especially kids who loved to watch and listen to Raymond playing.
