RIDEAU 175


Rideau 175This year (2007) marks the 175th anniversary of the opening of the Rideau Canal - the oldest continuously operated canal in North America. Many events are planned, there will be celebrations up and down the Rideau throughout the year.

Friends of the Rideau in partnership with Parks Canada has created a special website to list these events and to provide information about how you or your organization can participate in Rideau 175 celebrations.

Help celebrate the year with some Rideau 175 merchandise.
